Ages: 7-8 years old (2015 & 2016 birth years) ONLY
Teams: 3 teams with approximately 10 players per team.
League: Valley Hockey League
Format: Half-ice, 4v4 with goalie. Games played throughout greater Boston area.
Cost: $1775
Season: September-March
Schedule: Average 2 practices per week with no preset schedule. Typically one game per weekend.
Tryouts: Yes. Players not selected for a Travel team will be placed in U8 Development.
8U Development
Ages: 6-8 years old (2015, 2016, 2017 birth years)
Recommended players complete NYH LTP 2 or other equivalent LTP program
Teams: 3-4 teams with 7-8 players per team
League: Town Line League
Format: Cross-ice, 3v3 with goalie. All games played at Bajko Rink in Hyde Park.
Cost: $1500
Season: September-March
Schedule: Saturday morning practice & Sunday morning practice or game. Additional practices will be added mid-week or on holidays when ice is available.
Tryouts: Players are evaluated for team placement during the first few weeks of the season.
**All players eligible (2015, 2016), and interested, are encouraged to register and tryout for one of the Travel teams. After tryouts players not selected for one of the three Travel teams will be placed in U8 Development. Players not interested in trying out can register directly for U8 Development. **
